Boris - Resident Manager
Boris is the Resident Manager at Best Western Gorizia Palace and has been working passionately at the hotel for 31 years. Calm and determined, Boris loves interacting with guests, which he considers the most rewarding aspect of his job. A father of two grown children, he firmly believes in lifelong learning: every day is an opportunity to improve. Outside the hotel, you’ll find him surrounded by nature: running in summer, cycling in winter, or exploring the mountains. He even took part in the Rome marathon!
Andrea - Front Office Agent
Andrea is a Front Office Agent at Best Western Gorizia Palace and has been working here for 25 years with the same passion and curiosity as on day one. With a creative spirit and an inquisitive mind, he loves technology and art, which he sees as tools to understand and communicate the world. He describes himself as a curious person, always ready to ask questions and seek answers. For him, every guest is an opportunity to learn something new. He uses curiosity as a real “toolbox,” sharing stories and anecdotes to engage guests and help them discover the true soul of the city.
Urban - Front Office Agent
Urban has been a Front Office Agent at Best Western Gorizia Palace since 2006. With nearly two decades of experience, he continues to carry out his role with dedication and precision. A lover of order and organization, he finds satisfaction when everything is in its right place—because for him, peace comes from a well-managed environment. He values autonomy and guest interaction, which allow him to express himself fully. Outside the hotel, he is passionate about sports and nature: he enjoys skiing, biking, and hiking, often with his family. In his free time, he becomes a true “chauffeur” for his kids, enthusiastically accompanying them to their activities.
Safaa - Front Office
Safaa joined the Front Office at Best Western Gorizia Palace in 2024 and has already won over colleagues and guests with her kindness and helpfulness. She loves connecting with people, which she sees as the heart of her job, and faces her shyness with determination, turning it into a strength. Passionate about music, cinema, and travel, she enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. Always eager to learn, she’s currently taking courses in social media and marketing to further expand her skills.
Elena - Breakfast room
Elena has worked in the breakfast room at Best Western Gorizia Palace since 2022, bringing bright and contagious energy to each morning. She loves making guests feel comfortable, meeting their requests with a smile, and always trying to offer a moment of happiness. Passionate about sports—especially swimming and athletics—she’s curious and dynamic, with a strong desire to grow and learn. In addition to her job, she attends evening courses in social and health care. On weekends, she studies but always finds time to have fun with friends and nurture her love for travel.
Stefania - Breakfast room supervisor
Stefania is the breakfast room supervisor at Best Western Gorizia Palace, where she has worked since 2007. For her, the hotel is like a second family. Every morning, she welcomes guests with a smile, ready to offer a delicious cappuccino and fresh croissants to start the day right. A ski enthusiast, she loves spending winter on the snowy slopes, enjoying breathtaking mountain views. In her free time, she enjoys walking outdoors and traveling to discover new cities, traditions, and local flavors. Stefania looks forward to treating you to a breakfast full of flavor and relaxation.
Mateja - Breakfast attendant
Mateja has been working at Best Western Gorizia Palace since 2014 as a breakfast attendant, greeting guests each morning with kindness and her radiant smile. She loves making people feel at home and creating a special start to their day. In her free time, she passionately practices dance and enjoys long walks in nature. Curious and a wine lover, she’s always happy to help others with enthusiasm and positivity, helping create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the hotel.
