Blu Notte Gorizia Festival is a cultural and musical event that has been held at the Basaglia Park in Gorizia for several years, hosting internationally renowned jazz and blues artists such as Pietro Tonolo, Glauco Venier or John Taylor. Festival that sees History as the protagonist and Gorizia the meeting place. The aim of this event is to cover topics of great importance over time with a multidisciplinary approach. Historians, journalists, authors, scholars and personalities from the most diverse fields make their contribution by involving the public in conferences, presentations, dialogues, shows, exhibitions and film screenings.

12 October 2025

A historic international sailing regatta taking place every year in the Gulf of Trieste on the second Sunday of October, known for drawing in record number of participants, it is now considered the most crowded regatta in the world. This amazing competition involves both expert sailors and sailing lovers racing side by side on boats of different sizes divided into several divisions according to their length. The city of Trieste will plan several days of activities to celebrate this great sailing festival.

A tradition dating back to the Middle Ages, over two hundred stalls and many attractions for young and old characterize the traditional fair of Sant’Andrea, held every year between the end of November and the beginning of December. One of the most popular market fairs in all of Friuli Venezia Giulia and part of Slovenia, the only event still held in its entirety in the city center. Visitors will enjoy stands selling crafts and products of all kinds and sorts, along with a variety of attractions, rides and the Holiday lighting ceremony, traditionally marking the beginning of the Christmas season in the city.
